1982-1990: Continued working on hi-rise structures
throughout the Pacific Northwest.
1991: I was elected to the Executive Board of Ironworkers Local 86.
I served a 3-year term and in 1993. I was re-elected to a second term.
1996: I was elected as President/Business Representative
of Seattle
WA. 2000: I retired as an
active union Ironworker and chose to pursue a career in construction safety.
2001:
June, Started business Fall Protection Consulting, Inc. consulting
for local steel
erectors
including Evergreen Erectors, Coastal Steel, Corona Steel, Erectors, and Pacer Steel,
2001: Appointed as panel member for the
50th Governors Safety &
Health Conference
2001:
September, appointed by Department of Labor & Industries DOSH Services
Safety Program Manager to the Steel Erectors Stakeholders Committee
duties include monthly meting at L&I headquarters in Olympia
to draft language in

R to reflect the recent OSHA SENRAC ruling and its effect on
Washington State
steel erectors.
2001: December 6, 2001: Completed 32 hr. OSHA 510 Standards for the Construction Industry at the
